Blueberry and Rosemary Jam
Just four simple ingredients are all you need to make homemade jam. Spread this jam on toast with whipped butter, sweet biscuits, or even in between two pieces of bread with peanut butter for a classy PB&J!
Prep: 5 minutesCook: 55 minutesTotal: 1 hour
- 2 pounds blueberries
- 3⁄4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 4 sprigs rosemary
- Add blueberries, sugar, lemon juice and rosemary to a medium-sized pot.
- Turn the stove on a medium heat. Stir almost constantly until all the sugar has melted and the blueberries have started to break down.
- Once the sugar has melted, turn the heat down to low, and let the mixture simmer for 45 minutes. Stir every 5-10 minutes to prevent the bottom from burning.
- After 45 minutes, fish out the rosemary stems. Pour the mixture into a mason jar, and let it come to room temperature. Place the lid on top and keep chilled in the fridge.
