Getting fresh, healthy food just got easier for the community around the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center! Pick ‘n Save is thrilled to announce the launch of free pickup for online grocery orders at the center starting Monday, April 21, 2025. Thanks to our partnership with Kroger Delivery serving Pick ‘n Save, we're expanding access to fresh groceries right where you need them. And the best part? Delivery is absolutely free on qualifying orders!
Making fresh food more accessible
At Pick ‘n Save, we believe everyone deserves access to fresh, nutritious food. That’s why we’re partnering with the Silver Spring Neighborhood Center and Kroger Delivery to bring even more convenience to your grocery shopping experience. The Silver Spring Neighborhood Center does incredible work, from supporting families and youth programs to providing vital food assistance. With this new, hassle-free pickup service, we’re proud to help make fresh food even more accessible to the community.
"Through this partnership with Pick ‘n Save and Kroger Delivery, we are now able to provide same-day pickup of fresh produce right here on-campus," said James Wilbern, Silver Spring Neighborhood Center Assistant Executive Director. "This is a huge win for the West Lawn community, increasing access to affordable, fresh, high-quality goods."
Mondays are fee-free grocery delivery day
If you're connected to Silver Spring Neighborhood Center, you can enjoy free Kroger Delivery on grocery orders placed through your Pick ‘n Save account or the Pick ‘n Save app. Here’s how:
- Download the App – Get the Pick ‘n Save app (Apple or Google Play).
- Log In or Create an Account – Use your Pick ‘n Save or Metro Market account or set up a new one.
- Set Your Location & Shopping Method – Enter ZIP code 53218 and choose Kroger Delivery (blue truck) as your shopping method.
- Fill Your Cart – Add all your must-have groceries.
- Waive the Fee – Enter 5460 N. 64th St., Milwaukee, WI 53218 as your address and use the monthly promo code (available at the food pantry) to unlock free delivery for on-campus pickup.
- Provide Contact & Payment Info – Pay using credit card, gift cards or SNAP EBT.
- Pick Up Your Order – Swing by Silver Spring Neighborhood Center on Mondays, 11 a.m.-2 p.m., to grab your groceries. Look for the refrigerated blue delivery truck near the entrance!
$35 order minimum. Restrictions apply. Subject to availability. Monthly promo code available at the food pantry.
A special recipe from Imani Graham to celebrate the launch
We’re making this launch even more exciting with a special collaboration! Milwaukee’s own Imani Graham (follow @mentionables_eats on Instagram) created a budget-friendly, Mediterranean Chicken and Rice recipe featuring a mix of fresh ingredients and pantry staples that you can easily add to your next delivery order. His passion for making good food accessible shines through in every dish, and this one is no exception.
"I wanted to create a meal that’s low in cost but high in nutrition and flavor," says Imani. "This dish is a simple, hearty and satisfying combination of chicken leg quarters, bell peppers, carrots, zucchini, onions, tomatoes, rice and chickpeas. I believe everyone should have access to delicious, wholesome food, and this recipe is a great way to make that happen."

Through our shared commitment to giving back to the community, the Milwaukee Bucks are lending an assist with our launch event including filming a video of Imani making Mediterranean Chicken and Rice!
