Join Us for Drug Take Back Day

Four Designated Store Drop-off Locations Statewide

Safely dispose of expired and unused medications on Saturday, October 28.

On Saturday, October 28, four of our stores are partnering with local law enforcement agencies for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, including a new drop-off location at Pick ‘n Save, 2355 N 35 Street, Milwaukee.

Drop-offs will also be accepted outside these three designated stores during the event :

  • Metro Market, N65 W24838 Main Street, Sussex
  • Pick ‘n Save, 900 E. Riverview Expressway, Wisconsin Rapids
  • Pick ‘n Save, 8770 S. Howell Avenue, Oak Creek

The discarded drugs will be collected by our partners from Waukesha County Sheriff Department – Sussex Division, Wisconsin Rapids Police Department, Oak Creek Police Department, and Milwaukee Police Department – District Three.

It’s a quick and easy way to safely dispose of expired or unused pills, liquids, gels, sharps (where accepted), and patches! Just swing by the outside of these participating locations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (No medications will be accepted inside stores; acceptance of liquids, gels, patches, and sharps may vary by location.)

We also encourage you to tell your family, friends, and neighbors about our National Prescription Drug Take Back Day event.

The event is part of our dedication to help build strong communities by feeding the human spirit and supporting healthier habits. Last year, our participating Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market locations were able to collect more than 580 lbs. of medication and sharps during the October 2022 National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. We look forward to being your resource for the safe disposal of expired and unused medications again this year.
