For decades, Roundy's corporate giving has funded youth programs, food pantries, and education initiatives, among many others. The Roundy's Foundation was created in 2003 to further strengthen our commitment to the communities our stores serve.
Pick 'n Save and The Roundy's Foundation proudly support non-profit organizations that contribute to creating strong families and communities. The Foundation's goals are to enhance the quality of life in the communities in which we live and do business by focusing giving in three areas:
Primary emphasis will be placed on organizations and programs within the territory where Roundy's has a significant business presence and in communities where Roundy's employees live and work. Organizations must have an Internal Revenue Service 501(c)(3) tax exemption certification.
The Roundy’s Foundation has a board of directors comprised of three Roundy’s executives and two external representatives. The board meets six times per year. Board members are:

The Foundation receives more funding requests than it can grant. When it is necessary to decline support of a worthwhile organization or program, the Foundation is not reflecting on the value of the group or its services, but rather on the need to be selective because resources are limited. Contributions or grants do not establish entitlement for additional or continuing support or set precedent for future funding.
The Roundy's Foundation does not consider grants for individuals, programs outside Roundy's communities, religious organizations for religious purposes, educational institutions for regular programs, foundations and capital campaigns or athletic teams or sporting events.
