Charitable Donations (Non-Foundation)

We make every effort to support specific needs in our local communities. To that end, our store directors may be able to approve monetary or in-kind assistance through smaller local contributions. Store contribution budgets are limited, so the store director may refer you to the Roundy’s home office when a request exceeds available resources and falls within our focused areas of giving.

Generally, small donation requests such as gift cards for a raffle, a few food items to support a school or organization event, or table sponsorships may be submitted to a store director for consideration. In all cases, requests must come from 501(c) 3 non-profit organizations. Please follow the guidelines below to submit your request. Requests without complete information, unfortunately, can’t be accepted.

• All requests should be submitted in hard copy on the organization's letterhead.
• All requests should include the following information:
  • the organization's purpose
  • a request for a specific type of contribution (e.g. monetary, in-kind, etc.)
  • the specific quantity or the desired amount of the contribution
  • when and how the donation is going to be used
  • which store is most convenient or nearest for pick-up of the donation of food
• All requests must be received a minimum of three weeks before anticipated donation. Additional time is appreciated.
• All requests must include complete contact information (Name, Title, Mailing Address, Phone Number, Email Address)
